2012 Off-Road Duathlon Series
Ft. Steiacoom Park, Lakewood, WA
Thank you for your great support in participating in these races! While the series is over, there are plenty of races left in 2012 to participate, check out our Evergreen Trailrun Series or NW Epic Mountain Bike Races.
The 2012 Trail Duathlon Series are three races at Ft. Steilacoom presented by VO2 Multisport. All races will be on identical courses so you can track your fitness level over time. If you're new to duathlons, it involves a running leg and a biking leg. It's a lot like a triathlon except it's all on trails and there's no swimming involved (see Wikipedia definition). Trail Duathlons in particular are great for those of you that mountain/cyclocross bike and trail run or have a friend who wants to team up for a race.

General Considerations
Refunds
Up to 2 weeks before the race, 50% refund Please note that we incur costs for insurance, permit fees, food, swag, printing, safety services and planning for each registered racer. We are a very small company, and we have a hard time absorbing cancellations at the last minute
We are dedicated to the responsible enjoyment and active stewardship of the outdoors, and we encourage you to "leave no trace behind" by taking all trash with you. The park rangers always appreciates it when racers follow the marked course and keep the trails clean, and they are much more likely to grant permission for us to put on races at the same location if the trails are kept in good condition.
The trails will be open to other users during the event, including hikers and cyclists. Please be courteous. Where the trails are narrow, please let other participants pass you if they want to get by.
