Welcome to the Squak Moutain Trail RunGrand Ridge Midsummer's Night Trail Run

21st of August 2010, 8.30AM

This information can also be found on our new trail-running specific website, Evergreen Trail Runs

Join us for a run at Squak Mountain, located next to Issaquah. Squak features cushy, well maintained trails, and beautiful views of the surrounding mountains! With 3650 feet of elevation gain for the half-marathon and 8300 feet of elevation gain for the 50km run Squak Mt. is arguably one of the toughest challenges for a runner to find in the Northwest!

The course starts and finishes at the main Squak Mountain Trailhead (see directions tab). Parking is limited, so registrations will also be limited to 70 runners. We will post updates on how many spots will remain until the race fills up.

We offer a Half-Marathon (13.1 Mile) and 50k course options.  There will be plenty of aid stations and the courses are well marked.

Looking forward to seeing you out there!

General Considerations

We are dedicated to the responsible enjoyment and active stewardship of the outdoors, and we encourage you to "leave no trace behind" by taking all trash with you. The park rangers always appreciates it when racers follow the marked course and keep the trails clean, and they are much more likely to grant permission for us to put on races at the same location if the trails are kept in good condition.

The trails will be open to other users during the event, hikers and on the first small lollipop loop equestrians as well. Please be courteous, you will unlikely encounter more than a few. Where the trails are narrow, please let other participants pass you if they want to get by. It is a passing runner's job to tell the person in front that they wish to pass.

Results/CR
